Jumping For Joy: Styling Jumpsuits with Femme Luxe Finery #AD

THIS POST WAS WRITTEN IN PAID PARTNERSHIP WITH FEMME LUXE FINERY
Now I don't know about you, but lately I've found that dressing causally every single day has been getting a little bit old. Sure, I love mooching around the house in trackies as much as the next person, but I have missed feeling a little bit more put-together. I really enjoyed getting dolled up for an at-home afternoon tea to celebrate my 25th birthday and that has inspired me to dress up a little more in everyday life, even if the most exciting place I'm going during lockdown is Tesco! To inspire you to reach for something other than joggers when you next open your wardrobe, I've teamed up with Femme Luxe Finery to share three fabulous jumpsuits styled in three very different ways. Let's get started!

Fun In The Sun

Miranda Priestly might have spoken disparagingly of florals at springtime, but I think they work amazingly during the summer too! While lounging around in my Mum's rose garden, I've loved wearing this gorgeous white jumpsuit with floral accents. This jumpsuit gives me really cute, feminine vibes and the thigh-high split contributes a little bit of drama too! I think that this could be worn very casually for a family BBQ when teamed with brown strappy sandals as I've done here, but with a pair of heels and a jacket, it could work really well as a smarter outfit too. If you're tempted to pick up this particular jumpsuit from Femme Luxe, I would definitely recommend sizing down. I usually take a size 8/10 but I went for an XS in this and it fits like a glove!

Bossing the Boardroom

We may all be working from home at the minute but before we know it, we'll be ditching our loungewear and heading back to the office. A black jumpsuit is the perfect piece to ease you back into workwear. It doesn't require much thought to pull a great jumpsuit-based look together - just pop one on alongside your favourite blazer and you'll be looking like a boss in moments! I opted to keep the colours entirely monochrome with this look, pairing the more form-fitting black jumpsuit from Femme Luxe with a flare-sleeved white blazer and heels. The jumpsuit fits my shape nicely without being too revealing for the workplace. The frilly straps give it a bit of personality too! There is a cutout just below the bust but if that's not something you'd feel happy with in an office setting, you could always layer it with a cute cami or long-sleeve top underneath!

Dancing the Night Away

When I first saw this red jumpsuit on the Femme Luxe website, my mind immediately turned to the dancer emoji! And come on girls, who wouldn't want that outfit in their wardrobe?! The straight cut of the legs of this jumpsuit means that the vibrant red fabric kicks out as you move, ensuring that all eyes would be turned your way when you hit the dancefloor! I really like the figure-hugging top half of the piece too. The belt pulls in the waist to create a flattering silhouette. I chose to keep this look relatively simple with a matching red lip and a simple silver necklace but the plain red colour means that you could easily go all out with statement jewellery and accessories if you want to. This will definitely be a staple in my night-out wardrobe after lockdown.
